She hasn’t been pulled out of the gun safe in several years. I figured she was getting bored.
Going out again in the morning hoping for at least some more freezer meat and another 5 points for the team! Still hoping to catch up with a shooter buck, but they have out smarted me this season so far!
I am with you, I got my 2 doe on the board but the shooter has eluded me recently. As the season goes on, bucks I have passed might not be so lucky if they come by in the next two weeks.

Well fellows I am still trying! Hunted about all day yesterday, poured the rain and snow all night up until 11:00 today, so I figured it would have them on their feet. I went in and sat from 12 to about 4 pm at one farm, starting feeling real puny so decided to come home! I’ve been after an old buck for the past three years, he has to be at least 7 now and knew this was a good evening, just couldn’t muster up the grit to go! Wouldn’t you know it, first daylight sighting I’ve ever had was him on my corn pile with just enough shooting light left! Guess it just wasn’t meant to be today! Hopefully he will hold this pattern for a few days and I’ll get a chance at him, he won’t score a ton but any buck his age is a trophy in my book! 
Well our season goes out here on Monday, I’ve hunted my backside off with not a single shot fired since September lol! Gonna hunt in morning and afternoon tomorrow and all day Monday, don’t hunt on Sundays being the Lord’s day! So two more days left for me in my Ky season, I still have till February 4th in Ohio, but work and weather will dictate whether I get back up there or not. Doing my best fellows just having a hard time settling for a smaller buck!!!! Anyone else in the group have any buck tags left or season left to hunt?
I have 2 buck tags left for Georgia and our season goes out this weekend. I too could let an arrow fly at smaller bucks. Have been totally consumed with work, painting the inside of the house and helping my son on his barn since December 1st.
Not sure if I will have a chance to get back in the woods. So guys, sorry but looks like I may only be good for my 10 doe points.

Well fellows I finally got one of my target bucks this evening! I’ll try to post the full story tomorrow!
