SH Superlatives

What about most ambitious new member? I recall us having these types of discussions in years past (normally instigated by @gcr0003 ) surely we need to recognize the newest member that really embodies the saddlehunter spirit
@chaded and a couple other have recently jumped in with both wallets, I mean both feet.

I don’t recall such a thing but I would say a couple seasons ago I woulda given it to @thedutchtouch , not sure who fits the bill now.

Would like to put someone up there as most generous as well. It’s kinda hard since soo many people I’ve met have been generous with their time, advice, and giving asking for nothing in return.

Even for a mod @GCTerpfan sticks out as that person in my mind. From showing people the saddlehunting ropes, getting people into trad, inviting people to come shoot his 3D course, or even hunt his property, @GCTerpfan has been very generous to many of us. I’ve almost felt bad with number of times I’ve reached out of the years to bug him with saddlehunting and trad tuning questions, among a plethora of other things haha!

I know he hasn't been here in a while, but I think this SHOULD be by default.

13. Biggest SH scentlok disciple: @John Eberhart

70. Biggest Saddle Hunter: @Bigterp or @Vorsteg Wished I had them stand back to back that one meet up so I know for sure.
E is the leader of the Scentlok mafia, he can’t be a disciple. I think @Allegheny Tom sticks to a regimen pretty tightly though

@Black Titan definitely comes to mind for one or a couple of these

Probably one dealing with buying an insane amount of gear within the first year of saddlehunting

Biggest newb (NUB). We are all beginners at some point. You just don’t want to be the biggest newb two years running. :tearsofjoy:

I know you had some hiccups starting out while you figured out your system and got warmer clothing options figured out. For that I’d also say most determined.

I'll wear that badge lol. I'm just glad I have finally gotten to a point where I think I have things figured out for the most part.

By sketchiest saddlehunter I meant most unsafe. I use to think that was @phatkaw but now he owns about 32 tethers so he may be one of the safest saddlehunters now

Then I thought of @tailgunner climbing trees buck naked and barefoot, but now all he does is 2TC or hunt out of presets, which isn’t sketchy at all.

Maybe it is @Horn with his 6mm ropes?

Oh wait, who was that new guy that posted in the Live From The Saddle thread about trying climbing methods for the first time on the day he was going hunting. Had a couple close calls and almost got stuck in a tree several time. That was definitely sketch. @Plebe are you on the case? Need help finding out who that was.
