Pipe and cigar talk

How long is a cigar good for? Do they get better with age? I have some in my basement. Been in a hummidor box for 12 years or so? Maybe longer. I think I purchased them before I got married. There not dried out. Should I pitch them? Or give them away?
You should send them to me to test

If they are good smokes and stored well they really develop beautifully.

No comments are needed...u either like or no. Maybe we need a history of cigars...I'm sure that's interesting

I’m enjoying this thread. I only get to smoke a cigar every now and then since I keep it a secret from my wife lol. I did get to enjoy a few back during turkey season. One thing I’ve learned is that I rarely have an hour at home by myself to light one up.

Try to find Bourbon Barrel Aged cigars - these are flavorful and a good smoke. Diesel, Perdomo, & Camacho has them..
The cigars are rolled and aged for a number of years, then placed in a used bourbon barrel and aged for another year or so.
Try them, won’t be sorry

I’m stopping at a cigar shop to get a cigar for my buddies birthday someone tell me what to get please and thank you

Become a big fan of Comacho over the last few years. Not cheap but not crazy expensive either. Their Criollo is probably one of my favorite mild cigars.

These Drew Estate Javas are quickly becoming a favorite. This one is a Java Maduro, but I had a Java Latte the other night that was good also.
