I never know how much I’m allowed to say outside of the vendor section so delete this if I’m overstepping, but having spent a ton of time In both saddles I’ll give my thoughts on the differences. I’ll just speak in general terms of single panel vs two panel. I think you nailed the feeling difference between a two panel and single panel. The four straps compared to two are the biggest difference. Dimensionally they are very similar, but the two panel feels much firmer and those straps across your hips can be a deal breaker for some guys. The single panel feels much softer and as long as you get the geometry right you can get the straps off of the hip joint but not so high that you’re on the iliac crest. I have seen a lot of guys try both saddles and I still can’t land on a reason someone prefers one over the other except that the two panel guys just really like the extra support and the single panel guys hate the squeezing feeling that support causes. So they like a soft single panel.
Excellent remark. I have used three different two-panels and have concluded I just happen to be a single panel guy. When one of my single-panels is dialed in right, I'm happy. Got a feeling an Orion is in my future.

So do we just message @JCLINE84 on his site and ask to order an Orion? Because thats what I did!
Thats what i did. And dont get me started on how amazing this Orion is across the board. I didnt throw my Cruzr XC away but its not even in the same category as the Orion as far as craftsmanship goes.

Hey guys - hope I can get some feedback from all of you on the belt. I'm having Jamie build me an Orion soon. I was set on getting the raptor buckle for the belt, but reading through here it seems like guys really like the rope belt. Any feedback from those who have used both would be appreciated. I had a TX5 Reaper and the one thing I didn't like it when I loaded up my dump pouches and put my Doyle's gear hoist on one of the gear loops, the saddle wanted to sag down and wasn't comfortable to walk with, Wondering if a rope belt would get tighter and prevent the saddle from sagging. Either way...looking forward to trying an Overwatch saddle!

I had a rope belt on a Latitude and loved it. It would probably be my choice if I were ordering one.
