It's their living room and they like cover and browse. Trails are okay with them but clearing everything off gives them a bad vibe.I hope it helps but I cleared some if my property along the river and the deer don't seem to approve.
When the season opens I highly suggest you set up some saw horses with a 4x8 sheet of plywood on them. Bring out a cordless drill and some scrap wood. Lay your weapon on one end and work at the other end. JUST DON’T WEAR ANY CAMOI know my property is just a cut through from big woods to farm fields and back.
I've been cutting grass and had 5-7 just browsing 20 yards away, but always keeping an eye on me, been in my garage working on my Camaro with the stereo playing, hear a noise, and not 15 feet away had one feeding on some bushes, leave in the morning and have 5+ laying in front yard maybe 50 yards away....they just really use to daily life I guess.
