Here an idea, how about a side contest next year. A 'hold my beer' kind of contest that you submit success of hunting dare, wild encounter stories, or anything you can think of. At the end of the season we vote on who entry is the most popular/unique/funny/etc. Like I forgot who, but one year someone hunted in a blue body suit to proved that camo doesn't matter, there was another time where hunting in Hawaiian shirt was a thing. You can throw out some dares too, nothing unsafe or illegal of course, like don't dare someone to go hunting in a deer costume etc.....

Since its all for fun, does not even have to be in a saddle. But some effort please, no posting about killing a deer in your bathtub (yes it has been done before).

Example, I dare anyone to go hunting next year wearing a giant set of giant angel wings. Safely of course!

We were just having that conversation behind the scenes yesterday. Next year I'll have to rig it. It seems you've won it almost every year except the year I was on your team....
It doesn’t make sense. It’s gotta be something cosmic. We all know you’re good for 18 points every season. Go ahead and rig it next year. Then if you get beat by a randomly selected team you’ll know it’s just not meant to be. I liked having you on my team. Takes the pressure off everyone so they can enjoy the season.

Ive playing along twice....both times other peeps paid my entrance fee "anonymously" I think just so I can participate in the trash talk...it's definetly not because of my hunting skill.
I would not have signed up on my own and it's not like I have helped either team I've been on but it's fun to hear how others season progress...not gonna lie, it's a little depressing when I read about new hunters killing lots of deers or nice bucks first or second season...that always reaffirms to me that A- I am a sucky hunter and B- my state is really hard to hunt for various reasons with the quota system/access to hunting land being my biggest enemy.

Pretty sure my team either lost outright or we were #2 losers

There was the timberpimp contest for 2 years...nobody wanted to play this year for whatever reason....I wasn't able to tag a deer in timberpimp mode this year but did arrow some hogs in the appropriate pimpgear

Pretty sure if you hunted some place further north you would kill more deer.
Maybe we need to add a Handicap score for certain things. Like minus a pt. For private land kill, and plus one for public Florida.

I know deer get bigger as you go further north, but im not sure that makes them easier to kill... :)
