So... if there is a cat 4 hurricane begining of Sept and the dead tree doesn't fall I usually wouldn't hesitate to climb said dead tree couple weeks later......probably stupid idea but if it survived 100mph winds I don't think little ol me gonna matter much.
I agree with @BTaylor. I can't count the number of times I've been sitting in the woods on a calm, beautiful day only to have a tree (or top of a tree) suddenly crash to the ground nearby for seemingly no reason. Those trees survived the last wind storm but were still weakened enough to fail suddenly without reason.That house is the best deer blind ever
