So I've just built my own ozone closet for gear and base layers or anything that goes in the woods with me. I'm wondering if my active carbon scentlok suits should go in there or just remain in my rubber maid tubs away from the ozone machine and other no active carbon clothes and gear.

I would store the scentlok in your air tight tubs. Ideally you throw in a couple activated carbon bags as well to help eliminate any potential oder from the scentlok clothing, although it will have the same effect as it is activated carbon as well. No need for ozone as I've heard that the ozone molecules can attach to the activated carbon as well. I'm not positive on that, but that is what I've heard. Also, I avoid washing the scentlok unless it is really dirty or bloody. I usually just throw it in the dryer on high for an hour if I need to refresh it.

My theory on the matter is to ozone it for a few minutes and then seal it away. I built an ozone closet in my garage. I was not satisfied, I have done better by keeping everything out on the porch in a large locking cabinet instead.

Yes everything but my socks and underwear. I bring my clothes in to get dressed when its too cold. I keep a small gun safe heater in the bottom to keep stuff dry and I will add a good boot dryer this year.

according to different reviews I read prior to getting scentlok and ozone.... ozone eats activated carbon aka depletes it. therefore I always wash/dry mine on high heat and then put inside ziplok garment bags that you vacuum seal removing all the air from around the garment and then hang them or lay them somewhere until needed.
