Right??? Got to the point where I took upclose pictures of stuff like that for later. Always forgot how to thread a buckle and the WE knot. Then trying to thread an OCB buckle on a strap....esp when you're already at height. It makes me fee like its a a rubik's cube for morons and I'm the moron.

This really hits home, and hurts me deep down. My ego is still severely bruised by both the WE knot and the OCB buckle, both of which are no longer a part of my gear. Good riddance!Right??? Yikes..... at least the acetone fumes killed all the covid droplets in the shop, you were just doing a public service to all customers and employees.I had a good one today. I was at the bowshop and borrowed two pairs of pliers to shorten my wrist release. I had my arrows under my armpit. It was a tight space in the workshop area and i turned and nocked an arrow holder with a dozen or so arrows over ever so slowly. That fell on an open jar of acetone which fell off the counter after spilling most of it on the counter.
I have not felt that stupid in a good while.
I hear ya. Got up one morning, march into the kitchen to start the coffee. Filled the coffee pot with water, poured it in the tank, set it down, changed the filter, added coffee, started the brew. Went into the living room to catch a little news and weather. Man that coffee smells good! Waited for it to finish brewing, walk into the kitchen only to see that I forgot to put the pot back in place. Great way to start the morning....I don’t know.... earlier I poured a cup of cold coffee, stuck in the fridge and then started the microwave. Imagine my surprise when the timer went off and the microwave was empty.

I knew it existed. Just couldn’t find it.Here you go!

I have seen people pull back the pawl locking bar on a ratchet strap with their other hand and no noise. I tried it and it works.I can learn most knots pretty quickly, but oof that OCB buckle. It defeated me and I went back to a ratchet strap for my ROS, noise and all.
