Deer hunting with nerf guns

I have threatened to use a paintball gun in the woods since I don't like pulling the trigger on does and going through the effort of boning them out. Thanks for posting, searching for a paintball gun now and live the dream this fall. Blaze orange should make them more visible for the guys around me that want to shoot them too. I should get paid for such public service, but I'm 100% sure NC considers this or a nerf gun animal harassment to collect more $ in fines.

In are state its illegal to shoot deer with a paintball gun. They say you can do damage to a deer . Internal bleeding which can eventually kill them. Stick to hunting that's what I would do.

I read a story years ago about a Trad hunter that developed shoulder issues and couldn't draw his bow anymore. He continued hunting just as hard as he used to but, carried a camera instead. He would only take the deer's picture if it was inside 20 yards and offered a broadside "shot". He would then hang that picture on his trophy wall.
