I want to draw a Venn diagram of people who can shoot well enough to sight a bow in at 50 yards, people who shoot at deer at 50byards, and people who don’t know that posting about wounding one at 50 yards on a hunting forum will get them burned at the internet stake.
There would be zero people in that sweet spot.
Which means the odds that burning this fella will somehow make a light bulb go off in his head, and somehow correct course to what the torch bearers deem acceptable, are also pretty much zero.
The moral argument, and the internet implementation of it, says more about the lack of understanding of big numbers of those who use it, than it does any character shortcomings of our OP.
