Man, I hate to say it but I would definitely shoot that ugly metallic thing. I’m safe unless it comes in under $500.

    Trad tracker!

There’s a guy on YouTube that shoots pigs with it in Florida who had several successful videos. That intrigued me a bit when I saw it. The hog hunting he was doing was in very thick brush which is why he chose to start using the tracker in the first place. I haven’t came across anyone in the NE...

    Hand ascenders

With as short of climbs as we have I just climb on a hitch and the Garda foot loop. It’s just too simple and easy. If I didn’t have the Garda I would use ropemans again. They are compact, quiet and work well. Lots of ways to rope climb, and it is fun to find what works in the off season.

    Hand ascenders

Can’t recommend NOT using chinesium knock off replicas for climbing gear enough, even for hand ascenders. The materials and tolerances are never the same. $20 more and you can have equipment from reputable climbing companies.

Stick bow - where to start?

Don’t go stump shooting with a 55lb bow. I learned that the hard way. After losing an arrow in the first stump I shot I never returned lol.

Stick bow - where to start?

Even what we call traditional today is leaps and bounds ahead of Indian bows. It sounds like you may like the longbow yes. There are quite a few sub styles of longbows as well. I wouldn’t claim to be an expert of them though. someone else will chime in.
