This is another reason.I carry mine as well. I did almost jab one into my face one morning while crossing a log. Need to find something to cover them with!

Good point on the hose when it is cold out, I didn't think about that.Good call on the guardians.. been using hooks for quite a bit of time. "Lineworker" I tried the rubber hose for a while. It worked but there kind of a pain. I.E. when it's freezing the hose gets stiff and doesn't want to stretch over your spur.
I have some InstaMorph left from another project that could work. Making it clip on like the guardians tho might be a challenge
That would work great I think. Make it with a hole at the top to run a gear tie through.
I literally destroyed my leather guards yesterday. The one had a small hole in it already, but now they're both done. Those spikes are so sharp. I definitely need to do something else.I need something for sure. The little velcro/leather ones suck. I've already put holes in them both, along with my pack. The guardians seem like they could be loud clicking on and off. I like the pvc/gear tie solution. That could be the ticket.
Clever!!Morphed some hi-tops for the spurs. Put a little wax on the gaff and molded right to it. The fit is very tight. Good call on the gear tie Red.
Just under 1oz ea. after stealth strip
