New Aerohunter saddle

I ordered my Kite on 3/8 and had to call them and ask to delay my shipment because I was going to be on vacation when it was shipping, it would of been 3 weeks for me to receive it if I did not request the delay in my shipment.

I spoke with Debbie on 2 different occasions and was extremely happy with the customer service and would not hesitate for even a second to order from them again.

I wonder if that’s the hold up on releasing the new saddle? They want to have a good quantity in hand before the release date?

A lot of people don't seem to remember the months and months back log that they had for just the waist buckles.

People know you shouldn't bring your bow to the shop a week before season, but when a company says a product is back order in the first place, they want it to ship the week before season? Start ordering now!

I think that’s actually too long in a saddle that’s been out 3 years. But it’s better than some of the alternatives!

I believe with a lot of these smaller outfits, Aerohunter included, they don't really keep much finished inventory on hand. I'm guessing they pretty much build to order. That's the two week lead time that people are currently seeing. If I'm not mistaken I believe Aerohunter operates out of the same building as New Tribe and probably uses the same labor force. This could mean that an order from either company is going to fall into a production order for both.
 
These might have already been posted in here but i havent seen them on here yet. Looks like we will know more tomorrow.

Looks like there is going to be a new saddle option from Wild Edge. From their posts on Facebook I don’t think I will ever buy another thing from them. Some of the most arrogant and ignorant posts I have seen from a manufacturer.
 
Forget all this new stuff. I'll stick to my paracord DIY model and throw caution to the wind. May even go ultralight and try dental floss. Can buy both immediately at Walmart with zero waiting.

On second thought, you guys better click the order button fast tomorrow, these are likely going to go quick and I may be stalking their site to get one early.

I was thinking 4 pices of 55lb test fishing line. That'll hold right? and hell, you wouldnt need camo if it was clear filament!

Consensus seems to be that they might have had a hand designing the flex.
 
Think about this ... We resell products for same price as buying one off the shelf, because there is no "shelf". You have to wait X amount of time to get it. The manufacturers are losing that profit to peer to peer transactions. Why? What's sad is they have the demand most manufacturers beg for. They just can't figure out how to meet the supply?

Supply and demand is funny. I would argue (unpopularly) that prices should be raised in order to control demand. Maybe if saddles were $300-400, manufacturers wouldn't be backordered?
