What did you do today that’s related to saddle hunting?

Looks like an API Bowhunter climber. Different seat though....It's aluminum, and looks like it would only need the soft parts, and chains ?

    What have you learned?

Learned I'm not waiting for "the one" again...at least until I have one in the freezer. Tag soup sucks no matter how it's fixed.

    Subtle safety reminder

No tree is 100% safe, just keep that in mind. Did the "free ride down" climbing small trees as a kid too... ended up in the stickers and briers more than once when they snapped....was still fun at the time, 1970something.

Fess up, who hasn't shot their bow since last season ended?

Nope, waxed the string and cable, put in the case, and in the closet. BUT.... weather is changing.

    Cleaning up

I know my property is just a cut through from big woods to farm fields and back. I've been cutting grass and had 5-7 just browsing 20 yards away, but always keeping an eye on me, been in my garage working on my Camaro with the stereo playing, hear a noise, and not 15 feet away had one feeding...

    Cleaning up

EDIT: Pic added to first post.... Just checked this morning, and there are tracks since still using the trails. It was just so overgrown with sticker bushes and vines, it was a mess. I figured if I did this early, they would be accustomed to it by season opener...hoping. I didn't do anymore...

My little section of woods (about 2-2.5ac) I have a lot of underbrush and sticker bushes. Soooo, I went to town in one small area clearing it out. Hope the deer approve.... BEFORE AFTER

    Go to drop away rest

My first drop-a-way was my Mathews and it's the loudest thing on my bow...but no louder than snaping fingers. I do like the full containment though.

Climbing safety issue - please read

Been a few years ago now when I heard about this happening. I got on-line and ordered one. Groove has a few cool options and a lifetime warranty. (already used once now) I have the Mossy Oak one right now.
