    New Aerohunter saddle

I like what I see in the pic. They keep dialing in comfort, weight packability. I’m not obsessed about camo pattern, but happy to see ASAT.

    GriGri Rappel with Autoblock

I haven't. With trying all of these....I think it isn't worth the weight. Keep it simple and light which is why we got into Saddle hunting in the first place

    Treebolts revisited

What but are you using? That's never happened to me. I've always left the metal bare on the part that goes in the tree

    Cranford ez steps anyone use?

Look at the end of my treebolts revisited thread for an eBay link. Early in the thread has drill bit info

    Combining climbing methods

If you girth hitch through a screwlink, it is easier to loosen and move your tether. I use them for the ‘no stick’ stirrup Climb

    Combining climbing methods

Yes, I just hang with my knees on the tree

    Combining climbing methods

It's slower. You just move the tether up or down as you go. But that only works if you are putting bolts in on the way up or taking them out on the way down. If my legs are tired from a long day, it's a much more relaxed climb down if I know I won't fall :)

    Treebolts revisited

And I saw "oil" mentioned. I am guessing you wouldn't try to plastidip these and would just leave them as is.

Favorite Rut and Late Season Camo Pattern

It helps you hide from PEOPLE for sure. A couple of years ago, I was ground hunting and had a big buck 10 yards away from me. I was wearing shadow plaid and a face cover. I was downwind. He stared at me and then would go back to eating. Sadly, he was on my right. I knew I couldn't turn to...

    Shopping for pants

Got two pairs of the Wanglers today. One "Smoke" and the other in Camo. As noted elsewhere on here, the Camo have less (35) Spandex compared to 4% in the solid colors. It makes a significant difference. And these are cut very slim (which I wanted). Some people upsize on these. I am on a...

    Treebolts revisited

I just got a 10 pack of the gray texture paint dipped bolts from Treehopper. The texture definitely has more grip. They include a DUMB pouch....velcro flap. Do we really want velcro with a bag of metal bolts? Oh well. The dip makes them quieter than bare metal but not as quiet as my bolts that...

    Shopping for pants

It can be a tough call. You buy a bunch of stuff that isn't quite the right material or right pattern (if you care)...or you buy the 'right' ONE. I've done the same thing with Bows, Guns, Guitars.... What you DON'T want to do is spend a bunch of money on something very nice that you don't like.
