    Ropeman1 recall

My test tree only has a couple of big roots and the concrete is far enough away I should only maybe hit my head.

    Pellet Gun Setup

Neighbor in college was an old retired guy that had a bunch of big trees in his yard. Blackbirds would try roost there in the fall. Got in from class one day and when I opened the car door a shotgun went off. Startled me a little but knew where it came from and went to investigate. Old guy was...

    Ropeman1 recall

Naw, if I research it then I might find one like you mentioned. Then I would have to go an edit my post. I can re-phrase though, nary of my hitches have been recalled.

Never bought a sewn eye cord so wasnt aware of the cost there. Was just referring to plain rope for making hitches.

Can we start a communal turkey feathers collection/market thread?

I had you some wings rounded up but by the time they got to me it was bad. They were not sealed up before they were boxed and shipped and flys made a mess, left babies and stank that was gag worthy for the weak stomached. I salvaged the primaries but didnt try to tackle extracting the wings...

    2024 Off-Season Getting/Staying In Shape Motivation Thread

The real unknown is how much they actually "clean up" their diet and how much "exercise" they are actually doing. I will use myself as an example. Since I got somewhat serious about being in better shape a few years ago I have dropped 2-2.5 inches in the waist but my daily weight range hasnt...

    2tc vs one sticking

For me, it's the toe of my boot slipping off to one side or the other. Guessing it prolly depends a lot on what types of tree folks are climbing. Some obviously have better traction than other. Not uncommon around here to need to climb a willow, water or nutall oak and they are all hard tight...

Why do you not kill the deer you are after?

Not disagreeing but want to come at that from a little different perspective. I think there is absolute value in in using the mind set you mentioned. The trap is when you kill one or maybe 2 or 3 that way, folks stop trying other scenarios. For example a young hunter reads about killing bucks in...

    Stiff or weak?

Did you shoot the target sitting on the ground? If so, might want to try a few with the target up high enough for you to be shooting level or real close to it.
