Zinger Fletches

So I like using these for Bare shaft & Nock Tuning. I mark the arrows and nocks so if they pop off it's easy to line em back up. I don't see the issue with them popping off my lighted nocks. They are easy to find and give you the impact location to start tracking. These are old pics with the first version - the new ones aren't as hard. I've also had pass throughs that haven't come off as well.

The other benefit is if you bust an arrow, you just take the Nock and Zinger off it and they go on another arrow.

I’ve been using Zingers the past 2-3 years. I actually bought a pack from the classifieds here. Still using the same pack. I’ve had a couple where the vane tore. But just pop it off and put a new one one. I just mark a spot on the arrow shaft in case it moves. A lot more convenient than dealing with glue.

Couple questions; do they float? If u do glue them on to were they won't fall off are they able to be removed again without damage.

I've looked at them for a while and like the ease of install and tuning but not sold on them coming off. I tape the lighted nocks on so I hopefully don't loose any of those. Having 100 white feathers already doesn't help....feathers getting beat up so quick is the only reason I was looking at these. I never weighed but interwebs says 3.6 grains for 3 feathers of the flavor I have. How much does a 3 wing zinger weigh?

Just did a float test for you and the 4 fletch ones do NOT float. It sank like a rock. So I would assume that they all would sink.

I have been practicing with the 4 fletch for a couple months now and really like them. When I saw the zinger booth at the Pennsylvania sportsman’s show I went over and bought some more. He threw in a 3 fletch and a six fletch for free. I have been shooting it some and I don’t see any noticeable drop out to 40. Compared to the 3 and 4 fletch, but I haven’t really shot them enough yet. I’m thinking I might go with the 6 as of now.

Instead of gluing them you can also take a thin strip of arrow wrap or tape and put a couple wraps right behind the zinger. That lip should stop it from popping off.

Have you noticed a louder flight with the 6?. I have had the sample pack of 3 blade and 4 for awhile but haven't had a chance to really play with them.

Bump for the Zingers. I’m building some arrows and going with the 4 fletch 6 degree offset. I’ve never heard of them until the other day. Guess I’ve living under a stump somewhere.

I like them too. The only issue I have with them is I have trouble finding them after a pass thru shot on deer. Lol. Other than that they're a great fletch. Makes it easier to bare shaft tune too.
