    I’ve always felt the same. Camofire has muddy “tether” lengths of rope with a loop and prusik all the time on there for $15. They work great for me.

    I’m curious to know how well this device works. I had the bivy stick for a year or two and it pretty much sucked IMO. Their plans are ridiculously priced for what you get too.

    Sure thing. Yeah might be happening in both cases. I feel like you’ll get tired of the platform and move on to something else long before you would ever see a failure in the platform that is caused by the strap.
